Overview
This role involves advising clients nationwide and implementing leading cloud technologies within a rapidly growing Workday practice. The position offers hands-on training and certification in Workday, with a focus on maintaining a meaningful work-life balance and supporting professional development.
Responsibilities
- Advise key stakeholders through selection, transformation, implementation, and configuration of Workday.
- Participate in full-scale implementation, project management, change management, requirements gathering and design, process improvement, testing, integration enablement support, supplier enablement oversight, and best practices.
- Contribute beyond client delivery, including recruiting, coaching, marketing, business development, practice development, and operational improvement.
- Implement performance improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Configure and customize the Workday Accounting Center platform to align with organizational processes and requirements.
- Analyze existing financial processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Lead the implementation of Workday financial modules and integrate them into existing business processes.
- Collaborate with finance, legal, sales, and IT teams to understand business requirements and ensure alignment with Workday functionalities.
- Provide training to end-users on Workday functionalities and support ongoing user adoption.
- Address and resolve issues promptly.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to Workday configurations, integrations, and processes.
- Stay informed about Workday updates and industry best practices, recommending and implementing continuous improvements to enhance contract-to-cash processes.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in consulting, finance, financial services, healthcare, and/or accounting.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on functional financial experience with Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, or other ERP financial management systems.
- Experience implementing Workday modules related to Accounting Center, Prism, Financial Accounting, and Financial Reporting is preferred.
- Certification in Workday Financials, including Accounting Center, is preferred.
- Proficiency with business processes such as general ledger, budgeting, data transformation, and financial reporting.
- Ability to translate business requirements into system requirements.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain a "big picture" perspective.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $100,000 - $175,000 per year, determined based on experience, qualifications, skills, and location.

Additional Information

- Travel is approximately 25%-30%, with occasional periods up to 50%, scheduled purposefully based on client needs rather than a fixed consulting travel schedule.
