An internship opportunity is available for a college student seeking real-world experience in a professional environment. This paid internship program is located in Louisville and is intended for the summer of 2027.
The role is a great fit for individuals looking for authentic exposure to the financial industry with a nationally recognized registered investment advisory.
Responsibilities
- Assist account leads with various aspects of the accounting process, including:
- Batch accounting in the AR and AP process
- Processing and posting transactions and related journal entries
- Financial statement preparation and analysis
- Gain first-hand experience with the accounting process in multiple industries
- Shadow and participate in various types of client presentations
- Participate in employee social and volunteer events
- Work with a team virtually to create a financial planning project or other projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a minimum 3.2 GPA
- Majoring in Finance, Accounting, or related business degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Actively participating in campus organizations (preferably within a leadership role) and/or professional work experience
- Identify with the organization’s mission and demonstrate core values
