  • Apply customer payments, post cash receipts, and reconcile AR sub-ledger to the general ledger.
  • Reconcile vendor statements, research and resolve invoice discrepancies, and coordinate with Purchasing to ensure PO and receiving accuracy.
  • Support month-end close by preparing AP and AR reports, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Assist with financial reporting and related disclosures.
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation for all transactions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and automate processes as transaction volume grows.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with full Accounts Receivable cycle, including customer invoicing, cash application, and collections.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software.
  • Strong Excel skills for reconciliations, aging analysis, and ad hoc reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under high transaction volume and deadline pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional approach to vendor and customer interactions.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and proactively flag issues.
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with spend management platforms such as Ramp.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems like Fulcrum, NetSuite, or similar in a manufacturing context.
  • Knowledge of 1099 reporting, sales and use tax, and basic GAAP concepts.
  • Experience supporting external audits or financial diligence.
  • Background in high-growth or venture-backed companies.
