Accountant - US Experience (Remote)

Overview

Contract opportunity for an Accountant with US experience. This remote role allows you to work from anywhere and offers a pay rate of $90 - $100 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with US GAAP.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis.

Requirements

• Proficiency in US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with month-end close processes and reconciliation tasks.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance requirements for US-based entities.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or NetSuite.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
