Accountant

Overview

A Fortune 500 financial and payments technology company is seeking an Accountant to join their team. This position is 100% remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting systems including journal entries, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets.
• Monitor and develop monthly reports of revenues and expenditures for projects.
• Provide records of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.
• Review, track, and maintain asset information in financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and other accounting regulations.
• Clean up accounts and track transactions.
• Research discrepancies and follow data trails with strong intuition.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA and/or Master's degree preferred.
• Approximately 3-4 years of relevant experience in general accounting.
• Experience with capital and fixed assets preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Familiarity with assets, profit and loss (P&L), and balance sheets.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion.
