Accounting Analyst

Overview

This role involves working as part of an Analyst team responsible for managing end-to-end accounting processes for multiple clients within a franchise network of operator-owned accounting firms. The organization provides technology, processes, and infrastructure to independent accountants aiming to grow while maintaining ownership.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete accounting processes for multiple clients
• Maintain up-to-date books using software such as QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Dext
• Reconcile clients’ bank accounts and accounting ledgers
• Process accounts payable invoices using bill-pay systems like Bill.com and Routable
• Process payroll journal entries
• Prepare, analyze, and review month-end financial statements and supporting schedules
• Complete accounting-related project tasks assigned by managers
• Apply a technology-first mindset to problem solving
• Proactively identify opportunities for automation
• Ensure all daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines are met

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience with QuickBooks Online
• At least 2 years of end-to-end accounting experience
• Minimum 1 year of accounts payable experience
• Experience managing multiple clients' books
• Good interpersonal communication skills for interaction with account managers and clients
• Strong analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Xero accounting software
• Familiarity with AP SMB point solutions such as Bill.com or Routable
• Experience with cloud accounting tools like Xero, Dext, Expensify, Hubdoc, Settle, etc.
• Experience as an accounting reviewer

Compensation & Benefits

• Work shift: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Philippine Time, Monday to Friday (subject to change)
