Accounting Expert |$20 - $60/hour| Remote

Overview

An organization is seeking an experienced Accountant to support the development of next-generation AI systems by providing expert accounting knowledge and real-world financial insights. This role involves improving AI model accuracy through reviewing financial scenarios, validating accounting data, and delivering professional feedback based on industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze accounting data, financial records, and reporting processes
• Validate accounting scenarios for accuracy, compliance, and clarity
• Provide expert feedback on bookkeeping, financial reporting, taxation, and audit-related tasks
• Contribute real-world accounting expertise to AI training initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality financial datasets
• Apply knowledge of regulatory standards across multiple jurisdictions
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail in all deliverables

Required Qualifications

• CPA, Auditor, or equivalent professional accounting certification
• 5-10+ years of professional accounting experience
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, bookkeeping, tax, and audit functions
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Availability of at least 10 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI, data annotation, or technology-focused projects
• Knowledge of US, UK, Canadian, European, or LATAM accounting standards
• Previous experience working with remote or distributed teams

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate: $20 - $60
