Accounting Expert (Train AI Models Part Time!)

Overview

A leading AI research lab is seeking Accounting Experts to assist in training advanced AI models focused on accounting and financial-reporting reasoning. This role involves evaluating and comparing AI-generated outputs on complex accounting problems to ensure accuracy and alignment with professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Compare two AI-generated responses to the same prompt and determine which is superior
• Review provided input files and analyze each model's reasoning process to inform evaluations
• Clearly explain why one output is better, referencing correctness, compliance with GAAP/IFRS, and quality of reasoning
• Provide written feedback to the research team to help improve model performance
• Participate in onboarding and calibration sessions

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in accounting, audit, or tax (including public accounting, corporate finance, or advisory roles)
• CPA certification or equivalent, and/or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in GAAP and/or IFRS and financial statement analysis
• Strong written communication skills with high attention to detail
