Accounting Manager

Overview

The organization is seeking Accounting Managers to lead accounting operations for U.S. companies. This role owns the month-end close, oversees accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), and helps ensure financial records are accurate, timely, and audit-ready.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close process and financial reporting
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing and payment runs
• Review reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals
• Manage and review the work of bookkeepers and accounting associates
• Maintain internal controls and documentation
• Partner with client finance leaders on reporting and process improvements

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and close processes
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar systems
• Advanced Excel skills
• Good written and spoken English
• High attention to detail and strong ownership
• Based in the Philippines, with a reliable home office setup and stable internet connection

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with U.S. GAAP
• CPA or equivalent qualification
