Overview
This role is critical to the Order-to-Cash process, focused on resolving complex accounts receivable issues and ensuring timely cash collections. You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, collaborate across teams to remove payment barriers, and help improve collection processes in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts to drive timely collection of outstanding receivables.
- Investigate and resolve complex payment issues, including unapplied cash, short payments, disputed invoices, and billing discrepancies.
- Research unapplied payments by reviewing remittances, invoices, contracts, and payment histories.
- Own issue resolution with timely follow-up to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Negotiate payment commitments while maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Document collection activities and customer communications accurately in NetSuite and related systems.
- Collaborate with Billing, Revenue, Customer Success, Sales, Support, and Finance to resolve payment issues.
- Coordinate internally to remove obstacles preventing invoice payment.
- Escalate high-risk accounts and recommend practical solutions.
- Analyze aging trends and recurring collection issues to identify root causes.
- Recommend improvements to collection efficiency and reduce payment issues.
- Maintain standardized collection procedures and documentation.
- Support process improvements related to payment resolution and cash application.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Seven or more years of progressive B2B accounts receivable and commercial collections experience.
- Proven ability to research and resolve complex AR issues independently.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills to identify root causes of payment discrepancies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $78,000 to $95,000 USD, plus equity and benefits.
- Variable pay, bonuses, and other compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
