Responsibilities

Collections & Accounts Receivable (AR) Management

  • Own the AR portfolio and daily collection strategy across current and past-due balances, prioritizing by dollar value, age, and risk.
  • Ensure each material past-due account has a clear owner, next action, and expected resolution date; personally handle large, sensitive, or disputed balances.

  • Escalate accounts for outside collections or legal action when needed.

Billing Oversight

  • Complete AR aging review, account cleanup, and close deliverables on schedule.

Team Leadership

  • Directly supervise and coach offshore Billing and Collections/AR team members as the primary onshore point of contact.
  • Set clear expectations, deadlines, and escalation paths across time zones; hold the team accountable for outcomes.
  • Build repeatable SOPs and review controls so the team can operate independently.

Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Prepare weekly AR and billing reporting including DSO, aging, cash collected, and at-risk balances, with commentary on key changes.
  • Strengthen AR and billing controls and use Upflow, automation, and AI-supported workflows to improve team efficiency.
  • Support integration of acquired businesses into standard billing, collections, and reconciliation processes.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of progressive Accounts Receivable, Billing, Order-to-Cash, or related accounting experience.
  • 1–2+ years in a supervisory or team lead role within AR, billing, or collections.

Preferred Qualifications
