Overview
This opportunity is with an employer in the automotive reconditioning services industry seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable professional. The role involves managing the full accounts receivable process to ensure timely invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations
- Maintain and update customer accounts to ensure accurate and timely payments
- Communicate with delinquent customers to resolve payment issues
- Record payments in the system and reconcile with outstanding invoices
- Follow up on overdue accounts to minimize delinquency rates
- Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, aging reports, and cash flow projections
Requirements
- High school diploma or bachelor's degree
- 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role, preferably in the automotive or service industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior collections experience
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under deadlines
- 10 Key proficiency by touch
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly wage up to $25.00
