Overview

This role provides analyst support for financial analysis activities including data and text mining, analysis, modeling, and prediction to understand business issues, develop solutions, and enable informed business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Extract and compile information from large data sets across various systems to identify and analyze outliers.
  • Apply statistical analysis techniques to examine structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate sources to gain insights into key business problems.
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative data analysis reporting patterns, insights, and trends to decision-makers.
  • Collaborate across departments and with customers to define requirements and understand business problems.
  • Work with internal, external, and enterprise clients as needed to research, develop, and document new standard reports or processes.
  • Utilize advanced Excel, SQL querying, and reporting methods to develop solutions.
  • Implement and use analytics software and systems to support department goals.
  • Track trends related to various feeds, focusing on membership, revenue, and commissions.
  • Identify deficiencies within processes and strategize and design improvements where possible.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of finance experience or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency with complex queries and stored procedures.
  • Strong critical-thinking skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Time-management skills with the ability to manage simultaneous projects and tasks to meet internal deadlines.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite products, with key skills in Excel (including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables) and applicable software programs.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay range: $49,430.25 - $107,098.87 annually.
  • Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
