Overview

An organization is seeking an experienced Anaplan Senior Analyst to join a growing FP&A Solutions team. This role involves designing, building, implementing, and maintaining enterprise Anaplan solutions that support Finance Transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, implement, and maintain Anaplan-based solutions in partnership with finance teams
  • Translate business processes into sophisticated multi-dimensional Anaplan models, including architecture, data schema, calculation methodologies, and reporting
  • Maintain existing models by incorporating new functionality, developing enhancements, and resolving production issues
  • Author technical documentation such as model design, deployment procedures, and run-state/admin instructions
  • Participate in data integration pipeline development between source systems and Anaplan, including APIs, data models, and architectural elements
  • Identify and remediate technical debt to maintain high model health
  • Monitor and validate data processing workflows to and from Anaplan
  • Build relationships and trust with business model owners, end users, and stakeholders
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), script writing, and deployment activities
  • Provide hands-on training and office hours to drive end-user adoption
  • Apply Anaplan model-building best practices according to client and Anaplan Community standards

Project Overview

  • Position is within a growing FP&A Solutions team
  • Focus on Finance Transformation by streamlining and solving complex financial business problems using Anaplan
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal organizations on data integrations and process improvements

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of Anaplan Model Building experience
  • Anaplan Certified Model Builder Level 2 or above (required)
  • Strong finance acumen including FP&A, financial planning, forecasting, and sales planning
  • Experience with revenue planning such as ACV, bookings, billings, and topline planning
  • Ability to communicate in finance language, influence stakeholders, and advise on process optimization
  • Experience working in iterative/agile environments (Lean, Agile, Anaplan Way)
  • Technical proficiency in Excel, Anaplan, or comparable tools (e.g., Adaptive Planning, Pigment, SAP BPC, Planful, TM1, or other cloud solutions)
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Strong listening and communication skills with the ability to switch between technical and business contexts
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, business, engineering, or equivalent experience
