AR Accountant

Overview

A North American Finance team is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant to join remotely within the US. This role involves managing the customer invoicing process, handling incoming payments, and ensuring customer accounts are accurate and current. The position supports the Head of Cash Management for the North America cluster.

Responsibilities

• Generate and issue customer invoices
• Monitor accounts receivable balances
• Apply and reconcile customer payments
• Follow up on overdue invoices and collections
• Perform account reconciliations and month-end closing activities
• Support preparation of working papers and other management information as needed
• Assist with the year-end audit process

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting or 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of general financial accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary range: $55,000 to $65,000
• 10% bonus plan
• Actual compensation depends on qualifications, experience, skills, and physical work location within the state
