Overview

This role supports commercial integrity and continuity for clean energy and data center infrastructure projects across their operating lifecycle. Working with senior Asset Management leaders, you will track, analyze, and report on commercial implications of equipment supply, EPC, O&M, and interconnection agreements, helping ensure technical commitments remain visible, compliant, and well-documented as projects transition into operations.

This is an early-career, execution-focused position centered on operating assets, with opportunities to build foundational knowledge of technical contracts, power markets, and asset economics. The role emphasizes analytical rigor, documentation discipline, and modern workflow execution using Google Suite and AI tools.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate, timely commercial performance analysis and financial summaries for assigned clean energy and data center power assets.
  • Build and apply working knowledge of how assets generate revenue, manage curtailment or availability, and incur operating costs.
  • Use Google Suite and AI analytical workflows to synthesize operational and financial data into clear reporting inputs for senior leadership.
  • Maintain comprehensive trackers for commercial obligations, performance guarantees, notices, compliance deadlines, and key terms across:
    • equipment supply
    • EPC
    • O&M
    • interconnection
    • warranty
    • MSA agreements
  • Ensure rigorous documentation and decision traceability for technical and commercial commitments throughout the asset lifecycle.
  • Identify contract performance anomalies, warranty triggers, or potential non-compliance issues early and escalate with clear supporting context to the commercial owner.
  • Execute and refine commercial workflows, obligation tracking, and reporting processes using Asset Management System (AMS) platforms, Google Suite, and AI tools.
  • Coordinate commercial data and operational inputs across Development, Operations, Finance, and Procurement to keep asset records aligned.
  • Support project onboarding, commercial handover from construction to operations, and steady-state asset management governance.
  • Review project financial models to evaluate revenue assumptions, operating cost drivers, and commercial sensitivities.
  • Support annual budgeting, re-forecasting, invoice verification, and budget-to-actual variance analysis across the operating portfolio.
  • Develop fluency in how project finance and single-counterparty commercial structures shape day-to-day asset responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in commercial operations, finance, analytics, energy markets, or infrastructure roles (exposure to clean energy, data center infrastructure, or power markets is a strong plus).
  • Proficiency with Google Suite (especially advanced Google Sheets) and comfort adopting AI tools to streamline contract review, data synthesis, and workflow tracking.
  • Ability to read and interpret project financial models, budget variance reports, and commercial contract summaries with guidance.
  • Strong analytical rigor and operational discipline in maintaining obligation trackers, compliance calendars, and structured documentation across technical agreements (EPC, O&M, interconnection, warranties).
  • Clear, proactive communication skills and ability to coordinate deliverables across Development, Operations, Finance, and Procurement in a fast-moving environment.
  • Collaborative, ownership-minded approach to execution and continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Practical exposure to clean energy and/or data center infrastructure asset operations.
  • Familiarity with energy markets and power contract structures.
