Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States or in the Jacksonville, FL office.

The position is responsible for utilizing accepted and relevant approaches and theories to analyze assets and estimate values. It serves as a strong resource regarding policy and ensures valuations adhere to all regulatory requirements and internal policies, standards, and procedures. The role involves close collaboration with other internal departments to resolve valuation-related issues and may include providing training or guidance to less experienced analysts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform valuation analysis on various industries using accepted and relevant approaches and theories.
  • Apply multiple techniques to estimate the value of more complex assets.
  • Prepare and potentially present analysis results clearly and concisely to direct managers and senior management.
  • Contribute to the development of proposals, presentations, and publications communicated to current and prospective clients.
  • Conduct in-depth client, industry, market, and competitor research.
  • Independently gather data pertinent to engagements through direct client interaction and site visits.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of regulations, requirements, policies, and procedures affecting asset valuations to monitor compliance.
  • Respond to inquiries related to policy compliance or asset valuation.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in analysis, equipment valuation, or appraiser & remarketing

OR

  • High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in analysis, equipment valuation, or appraiser & remarketing

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in the financial sales industry
  • Asset valuation experience in Commercial & Industrial (C&I), Agriculture, Office and Imaging, and/or Healthcare sectors
  • Experience with residual value setting and collateral condition
  • Project management experience
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and financial modeling skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • American Society of Appraisers Certification (ASA) preferred

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base pay range: $100,000 - $130,000 per year, dependent on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors.
  • Total compensation may include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
