Associate Director - OneStream Architect, Account Reconciliation & Transaction Matching

Overview

This role involves serving as an Associate Director within a rapidly growing Transformation & Technology Enablement practice, focusing on designing and implementing OneStream's Account Reconciliation (AR) and Transaction Matching (TXM) solutions. The position requires leading client delivery, managing teams, and participating in business development activities to help finance organizations improve financial close processes through a unified, AI-enabled platform.

Responsibilities

Client Delivery & Implementation

• Lead end-to-end OneStream AR and TXM implementations, including scoping, requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and go-live.
• Configure multi-source transaction loading, match rule logic, workflow automation, and exception management.
• Design matching logic for complex scenarios such as intercompany reconciliations, bank-to-GL matching, invoice-to-receipt, and corporate credit card transactions.
• Advise clients on transitioning from standalone reconciliation tools (e.g., BlackLine, Excel) to OneStream's unified Financial Close platform.
• Implement risk-based reporting frameworks, continuous anomaly monitoring, audit trails, approval workflows, and drill-to-reconciliation functionality to support SOX, US GAAP, and IFRS compliance.
• Drive period-end close acceleration and improvements in budgeting, forecasting, consolidations, and reporting by leading ERP/GL integrations and process enhancements.

Project & Team Leadership

• Manage projects across organizational, process, technology, and data dimensions, proactively identifying and resolving risks and issues.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional project teams, developing junior consultants and maintaining high delivery standards.
• Collaborate with client leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth OneStream implementations.
• Participate in talent acquisition activities including interviewing, hiring, and retention.

Business Development

• Lead business development efforts such as pursuit development, scoping sessions, and proposal creation for AR/TXM opportunities.
• Leverage subject matter expertise to identify client improvement opportunities and grow the OneStream practice.
• Contribute to thought leadership and practice-building initiatives, including whitepapers and firm-approved content.

AI & Innovation

• Assist in developing and implementing AI-enabled solutions in compliance with data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards.
• Stay informed on emerging AI tools and collaborate with leadership to identify compliant opportunities to enhance client solutions and internal processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience implementing OneStream or similar EPM/CPM tools (e.g., Oracle Hyperion, BlackLine) with hands-on design and client delivery.
• Background in professional services such as public accounting, advisory, or management consulting, with expertise in Consulting, Finance, Accounting, or Financial Systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in OneStream AR and TXM solutions, including match rule configuration, workflow management, exception handling, and risk-based reporting.
• Experience migrating clients from standalone reconciliation tools to OneStream's unified Financial Close platform, including familiarity with Financial Close Marketplace solutions.
• Strong knowledge of financial close and consolidation processes, including intercompany reconciliation, journal entry management, and period-end close acceleration.
• Proficiency with analytical and modeling tools to build complex financial models and create executive dashboards.
• Comfort and demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation.
• Continuous learning mindset with openness to emerging technologies including AI and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• OneStream Certified Architect or actively pursuing certification.
• Willingness to travel based on client needs.

• Estimated salary range: $165,000 - $230,000 per year, plus annual bonus and additional benefits.
