Overview
This role is responsible for partnering with the business to drive growth in the homes supply segment. It involves working directly with senior leaders to measure the impact of business initiatives, influence investment decisions, and link business actions to financial outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business partners on annual and quarterly planning processes to align financial and strategic goals.
- Support strategic projects aimed at improving financial outcomes, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring long-term growth.
- Ensure strategic and product initiatives align with the overall business P&L and objectives.
- Provide actionable financial insights through detailed reporting and analytics.
- Partner with Data Science teams to enhance data accessibility, automation, and conduct in-depth financial investigations.
- Present financial reports, performance updates, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Analyze business trends and drivers of variance, synthesizing complex data into actionable insights.
- Manage tracking and approval of the team’s budget requests, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organizational priorities.
- Monitor expenditures proactively and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure proper documentation and justification.
- Provide timely updates and reporting to leadership to maintain fiscal discipline and support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and/or business strategy.
- Background in strategic finance, investment banking, management consulting, or business operations preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Mathematics, or a related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
- Proven experience in P&L management, revenue forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Proficiency and self-sufficiency in spreadsheets and financial reporting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI to enhance process quality and productivity.
- Strong strategic and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize financial data and make business-driving recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence decision-making across the organization.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative environment with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay range: $157,000 to $172,000 USD.
- Eligibility for bonus, equity, benefits, and employee travel credits.
Location
- This position is US - Remote Eligible.
- Occasional work at an office or attendance at offsites may be required as agreed with management.
- Candidates must reside in a US state where the employer has a registered entity.
