Billing Specialist

Overview

The organization is seeking a Billing Specialist to support mobile heavy-duty fleet maintenance and repair operations. This role helps ensure technicians are compensated correctly and clients are billed accurately, while maintaining strong billing and collections performance.

Responsibilities

• Process 100% of field work orders into accurate invoices in a timely manner.
• Proactively communicate with clients, dispatchers, and technicians to resolve billing discrepancies efficiently and with integrity.
• Maintain strong collection rates on outstanding accounts to keep the organization financially strong.
• Educate and assist the field team on proper documentation practices to streamline the billing process.
• Provide exceptional, professional customer service and build relationships with clients.

Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or financial administration within the fleet industry.
• Strong attention to accuracy and commitment to operational excellence.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a rugged, fast-paced team.
• Dedication to completing work correctly.

Location

• Salt Lake City area based. Right now it will be remote with required meetings in person. There is the potential the organization will have an office in the area where the job will no longer be remote.
