Overview

This full-time Associate-level Bookkeeper role supports leisure travel planning, reservations, itineraries, cruises, all-inclusive vacations, and traveler service. The position focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliation, and handling exceptions.

Work output should be traceable—showing what source was used, what changed, what remains open, and who owns the next action.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile discrepancies before reporting or processing, ensuring issues are traceable within leisure travel planning, reservations, itineraries, cruises, all-inclusive vacations, and traveler service.
  • Track and document unresolved financial exceptions, maintaining clear traceability within the travel planning and booking workflow.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation so work remains verifiable and traceable.
  • Protect confidential account information throughout all bookkeeping and documentation activities.
  • Review financial inputs against supporting records to confirm accuracy and completeness.

Success Standard

Success means financial records, reconciliation, and exception handling remain usable and verifiable as demands change across leisure travel planning, reservations, itineraries, cruises, all-inclusive vacations, and traveler service. Repeated errors should become visible; exceptions should have owners; and another authorized teammate should be able to verify work status without reconstructing its history.

Requirements

  • Ability to work with bookkeeping processes that support leisure travel planning, reservations, itineraries, cruises, all-inclusive vacations, and traveler service.
  • Proficiency with reconciliation, financial record maintenance, invoice review, and payment tracking.
  • Strong data accuracy, spreadsheet analysis, and financial reporting skills.
  • Experience documenting variance analysis decisions clearly enough for another teammate to follow the reasoning.
  • Ability to apply confidentiality while preserving evidence, owners, and deadlines within the workflow.
  • Sound judgment when escalation is needed rather than assumption.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with audit support and audit-ready documentation.
  • Familiarity with document review and approval tracking.
  • Background in exception resolution and record maintenance.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $43,000-$68,000 per year

Location

  • 100% remote within the United States.
