Overview
This full-time Associate-level Bookkeeper role supports accurate vacation planning financials across cruises, honeymoons, groups, all-inclusive stays, and theme-park travel. The work is bookkeeper-focused, with an emphasis on traceable records, reconciliation, and exception handling so the status of each item is clear, including source, changes, open items, and who owns the next action.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile discrepancies to ensure completed work is traceable within vacation planning financial processes (cruises, honeymoons, groups, all-inclusive stays, and theme-park travel).
- Track unresolved financial exceptions and keep exception status traceable so items can be followed up, closed, or reassigned to an authorized owner.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation that supports verification of work without reconstructing history.
- Protect confidential account information and escalate as needed rather than assume.
- Review financial inputs against supporting records and document account review decisions clearly for other teammates to follow the reasoning.
- Support invoice review and payment tracking as part of the reconciliation and reporting workflow.
Success Standard
Success means accurate financial records, effective reconciliation, and exception handling that remain usable under the demands of vacation planning across cruises, honeymoons, groups, all-inclusive stays, and theme-park travel. Errors should be discoverable, exceptions should have owners, and another authorized teammate should be able to verify work status using the documented trail.
