Overview
A global manufacturer of medical products with a diverse portfolio sold in over 100 countries is seeking a Collections Representative. The organization operates across homecare, long-term care, retail, and e-commerce channels, providing healthcare solutions worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Review and systematically follow up on past-due accounts to maintain current payment status.
- Collaborate with the deductions department to reconcile complex billing discrepancies.
- Resolve unapplied cash issues on designated accounts.
- Analyze aging reports to identify accounts requiring targeted collection efforts.
- Maintain professional communication with clients and contact customers regarding pending orders.
- Process financial transactions including Bank Wire, ACH, and Credit Card payments.
- Coordinate with the Credit department on account blocks or external collections.
- Work with the Sales Team on customers operating outside standard payment terms.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of B2B business collections experience.
- High school diploma required; BS/BA degree preferred.
- Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion.
- Self-motivated and accountable, comfortable in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional experience with SAP software systems.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay range: $26.92 to $27.40, final compensation based on experience and qualifications.
