You will also identify emerging portfolio risks, enhance fraud and credit controls, and use data, technology, and automation to improve risk management processes and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and report portfolio trends, credit exposure, fraud findings, and key risk indicators; provide recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Lead complex or higher-risk counterparty reviews and partner with business stakeholders to resolve escalated credit and risk issues.
  • Leverage SQL, Salesforce, Excel, and other analytical tools to identify anomalies, emerging trends, and potential fraud or eligibility risks.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate underwriting, fraud detection, eligibility reviews, and portfolio monitoring processes.
  • Develop and enhance underwriting workflows, risk controls, scorecards, and monitoring processes to improve consistency, scalability, and time to decision.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Operations, Onboarding, and Business Development to address complex counterparty risks and incorporate regulatory requirements into risk processes.
  • Support enhancements to credit, compliance, and risk policies and procedures based on regulatory changes, portfolio performance, audit findings, and emerging risks.
  • Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to junior analysts and other cross-functional partners as needed.
  • Maintain established SLAs for partner onboarding and ongoing risk reviews.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL, Salesforce (SFDC), Tableau, Experian, LexisNexis, or similar tools is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present risk findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
