Overview

A financial institution with over 135 years of history and more than $16 billion in assets is seeking a Credit Analyst to support responsible lending decisions. The organization operates 135 branch locations across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and California and is recognized for financial strength and workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate credit and financial information for prospective and existing commercial clients.
  • Analyze business and personal financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, collateral, and sources of repayment.
  • Prepare credit approval packages, spreadsheets, summaries, and written analyses for loan decision makers.
  • Support new, renewed, and existing loan requests ranging from simple to moderately complex.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, security requirements, and applicable regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field (required).
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Two or more years of related credit or financial analysis experience (required).
  • Agricultural analysis experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comfortable analyzing financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow with a strong grasp of basic accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical thinking and sound judgment in credit investigations.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of work accurately while adapting to shifting priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Understanding of federal and state regulations related to commercial lending.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other applicable systems.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Targeted starting salary range (based on experience): $30.34 - $39.98 per hour.
