Overview
A global platform serving over 500,000 developers and generating an annual recurring revenue run rate exceeding $120 million is seeking a Deal Desk Manager, Revenue Operations. Founded in 2022, this remote-first organization provides infrastructure solutions for scalable AI systems across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage review and approval processes for non-standard enterprise deals
- Support custom pricing structures, savings plans, multi-year agreements, and volume discounts
- Establish and maintain Deal Desk service level agreements with Sales
- Serve as primary operational contact for Account Executives handling complex deals
- Lead CPQ implementation and administration in collaboration with Revenue Operations and Finance
- Maintain pricing rules, discount matrices, approval workflows, and product catalogs
- Collaborate with Sales leadership on quote templates and proposal workflows
- Enforce pricing and discount governance standards
- Coordinate with Finance on bookings definitions and revenue recognition
- Work with Legal on contract review procedures and approvals
- Maintain records of pricing precedents and deal history
- Manage contract repositories and ensure alignment with CRM
- Develop systems supporting renewals, amendments, and expansions
- Partner with Customer Success on renewal management
- Ensure deal structures and contract values are accurately recorded in CRM
- Identify risks related to revenue recognition, approvals, and forecasting
- Support quarterly close processes and booking accuracy
- Utilize AI tools for contract review, workflow automation, pricing analysis, and approval routing
- Evaluate AI tools to enhance Deal Desk efficiency and scalability
- Stay informed on AI-driven commercial operations best practices
Requirements
- Experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or commercial operations within SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, or infrastructure sectors
- Understanding of enterprise pricing structures, usage-based pricing, and contract governance
- Experience with CPQ systems such as Salesforce CPQ, DealHub, or Conga
- Proficiency in CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
- Knowledge of revenue recognition principles and enterprise contracts
- Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Finance, and Legal teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience managing multiple complex deals simultaneously
- Active use of AI tools for workflow automation or commercial operations
- Successful completion of a background check
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $125,000 to $180,000, dependent on experience, qualifications, and location
