  • Manage Salesforce-to-NetSuite data flow, enforce billing controls, and resolve disputes and credit memos in coordination with Sales and Customer Success.
  • Manage collections and accounts receivable functions, including aging oversight, dunning communications, escalation management, and monitoring days sales outstanding (DSO), aging buckets, and bad debt exposure.
  • Own the Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) reserve analysis under ASC 326 in coordination with the Controller.
  • Lead the monthly revenue close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, customer-level deferred revenue rollforwards, and month-over-month variance analysis.

  • Maintain year-round audit-ready documentation for all revenue accounts and manage external auditor relationships related to revenue and order-to-cash processes.
  • Serve as the functional owner of NetSuite revenue modules, maintaining revenue arrangements, recognition rules, and SSP allocations.
  • Oversee integrations between Salesforce, billing, and collections platforms.
  • Identify and lead initiatives to automate and fundamentally redesign manual accounting workflows within revenue operations for scalability.
  • Directly manage and develop a team of revenue accounting, billing, and collections professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience focused on revenue accounting; Big 4 experience preferred or a strong combination of public and industry experience.
  • CPA certification strongly preferred.
  • Deep technical expertise in ASC 606, including multi-element arrangements, variable consideration, SSP allocation, contract assets and liabilities, and usage-based revenue models.

  • Experience managing billing operations, accounts receivable, and collections functions.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM systems and their integration with NetSuite.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a team.
