Overview
This role supports strategic pricing for the organization’s US business in designated divisions. The position is homebased out of Los Angeles, California and focuses on maximizing sustainable profit through effective pricing and trade terms.
Responsibilities
- Maximize sustainable profit through effective pricing and trade terms across a dedicated Divisional Sales team.
- Support the Division Sales team in executing global pricing standards and strategy.
- Perform pricing analysis of internal performance and competitive benchmarks.
- Provide decision support and analysis (including M&E) on price and promotion opportunities developed with market sales leads.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or economics is required.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience; preferably within the alcohol spirits or CPG industry.
- Self-starter who is proactive and able to lead projects and analysis.
- High-level commercial, marketing, or finance experience in a data-driven industry, including developing and executing programs based on data.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including proficiency with formulas and data analysis, is required.
- Very strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to build compelling selling stories based on data and explain insights to audiences with various knowledge levels.
- Strong presentation skills delivering to various levels of internal and external team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the alcohol spirits industry 3-tier system regulatory environment.
- Experience collaborating and influencing CPG brand marketing and sales teams.
- Ability to manage difficult, complex markets and achieve business objectives.
- Ability to work with little supervision and handle multiple projects in a timely manner within a lean organization.
