Overview

A remote contract opportunity is available for a Senior Investment Analyst (Buy-Side) role, compensated at $125 per hour. This position involves working with a team that connects top creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed investment theses across equities or various asset classes.
• Perform advanced financial modeling and valuation analysis.
• Critically evaluate AI-generated research outputs and investment recommendations.
• Identify gaps in reasoning, assumptions, and risk assessments.
• Contribute to building high-quality training datasets for financial AI models.
• Mentor junior team members and provide domain expertise.

Requirements

Must-Have

• 4 to 8 years of experience in equity research, hedge funds, or asset management.
• Proven track record in fundamental analysis and idea generation.
• Advanced skills in financial modeling and valuation.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex investment views.
• Sector-specific coverage experience is a plus.

Preferred

• CFA charter-holder or MBA degree.
• Experience with alternative data or systematic investment strategies.
• Prior exposure to artificial intelligence or machine learning applications in finance.
