Overview

This role involves supporting revenue forecasting, financial planning, and performance analysis for a portfolio of live service titles within a major entertainment and technology organization. The Finance Manager will collaborate closely with Finance, Product Management, Studios, Analytics, and Commercial teams to inform business decisions related to first-party live service games.

The position reports to the Senior Finance Manager, Live Services Revenue Forecasting and can be based remotely within the US or at one of the following studio locations: San Mateo, CA; London, UK; or Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Responsibilities

  • Support revenue forecasting and financial analysis across the live services portfolio.
  • Maintain and improve forecasting models, incorporating new methodologies and automation tools as appropriate.
  • Participate in key financial planning cycles including annual planning, quarterly forecasts, budgeting, and mid-range planning.
  • Analyze game performance and communicate insights, trends, opportunities, and risks to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Develop scenario analyses and business cases related to monetization strategies, promotions, content plans, and investment decisions.
  • Partner with studio, product management, analytics, and live operations teams to align forecasting assumptions and reporting.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of licensing, marketing, development, and operational costs on portfolio performance.
  • Contribute to process improvements to increase forecasting accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive benchmarks within gaming and live services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced finance certifications are a plus.
  • 7–10 years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, FP&A, or related finance functions.
  • Experience in gaming, entertainment, technology, or subscription/live service business models preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Experience with forecasting automation tools, machine learning applications, or advanced analytics methodologies is a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Collaborative approach with experience working across cross-functional and global teams.
  • Interest in gaming, digital entertainment, and live service business models.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated base pay range example for Seattle, WA: $139,900—$209,900 USD.
  • Base pay varies based on geographic location, knowledge, skills, experience, and hybrid working policy.

  • Potential eligibility for a bonus package.
