Finance Manager

Overview

The organization is seeking a high-performing Accountant with strong technical accounting fundamentals and a finance transformation mindset. In addition to core accounting and reporting, this role will support Finance transformation through AI, automation, data, and technology to improve efficiency, controls, scalability, and decision-making.

Experience in consulting, finance transformation, or technology-enabled finance—particularly within FinTech or digital assets—is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial and management reporting, including cash flow, tax, GST, budgeting, and statutory reporting.
• Prepare and review annual reports, statutory accounts, and management reports.
• Perform and review revenue, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and external advisors.
• Identify and deliver opportunities to automate, simplify, and transform finance processes.
• Leverage AI, GenAI, automation, data analytics, and technology to improve accounting efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Partner with Finance Systems, Data, Engineering, and business teams to implement technology-enabled finance solutions.
• Lead or support process improvement and finance transformation initiatives, challenging existing ways of working.
• Translate complex accounting requirements into practical, scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy / Finance, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• 8+ years’ relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, consulting, or finance transformation.
• Strong technical accounting, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
• Advanced MS Excel skills; ERP, BI, workflow automation, or financial systems experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Highly detail-oriented, curious, and willing to challenge the status quo.
• Strong interest in AI, GenAI, automation, data, and emerging finance technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in finance transformation, automation, or consulting is highly preferred.
