Overview
This role involves leading the financial strategy and analysis for Agentic Commerce initiatives within a Payments Products Finance & Strategy team. The team partners closely with product and engineering leaders to provide financial rigor, strategic clarity, and analytical depth to support product portfolio decisions and long-term growth strategy in a rapidly evolving market.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a financial and strategic advisor, building investment cases, business plans, and evaluating business performance.
- Develop executive-level presentations that communicate the investment narrative using internal and external data.
- Support new business and product launches by providing driver-based financial analyses and frameworks to guide strategy and decision-making.
- Establish and maintain key business metrics and KPIs to measure new product performance as the business matures.
- Lead quarterly forecasting and annual strategic financial planning processes.
- Develop long-range financial models with scenario analysis and actionable recommendations on growth, monetization, and investment prioritization.
- Present performance insights in business forums, highlighting drivers, risks, and actionable recommendations.
- Drive process improvements and analytics scalability by collaborating cross-functionally to enhance data infrastructure, reporting, and analytics.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to advance financial analysis capabilities.
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in strategic finance, preferably at a high-growth technology company or with experience in hedge funds, sell-side, or venture capital with a strong analytical background (e.g., investment banking).
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in a related field.
- Exceptional analytical skills and business acumen with the ability to simplify complex information into clear, rigorous, and consumable insights.
- Proven ability to create polished, executive- and investor-ready presentations that communicate complex narratives clearly and concisely.
- Broad exposure to multiple industries and sectors; experience in technology, SaaS, or AI is a plus.
- Strong collaborative skills with a track record of building trusted relationships with business partners and executives.
- Self-starter with a proactive, "roll up your sleeves" attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple work streams and perform under tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-moving, and unstructured environments.
- Experience with SQL or willingness to learn.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep understanding of payment and card network economics.
- Experience as a finance business partner supporting partnerships or deal-making functions.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual US base salary range: $183,200 - $274,800. This range may be adjusted based on experience, qualifications, and location.
- Additional benefits may include equity, company bonuses or commissions, 401(k) plan, medical, dental, and vision benefits, and wellness stipends.
Location & Work Arrangement
- This role is available as a hybrid position, either in an office or remotely if located 35+ miles (56+ km) from an office.
- Office-based employees are expected to spend at least 50% of their time in the local office or with users each month.
- Remote employees are expected to work primarily from home but may attend team meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events as needed.
- The organization does not cover relocation costs for remote positions.
