Overview

This role involves training and evaluating AI systems that process financial data. As a Financial Accuracy Specialist, you will review AI-generated financial statements, tax guidance, and expense reports to ensure they are mathematically correct and comply with relevant local accounting and tax rules.

Responsibilities

  • Statement Auditing: Review AI-generated balance sheets and P&L statements to confirm the math balances correctly.
  • Tax Logic Verification: Verify that the AI applies appropriate tax rates and rules for the relevant country (e.g., VAT in Europe or Zakat in the Middle East).
  • Expense Categorization: Support training so the AI correctly tags expenses (e.g., distinguishing between a “Travel Expense” and a “Capital Asset”).
  • Fraud Detection Training: Help the AI identify unusual patterns that may indicate issues such as double-billing or other suspicious financial activity.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • Native Language: Native-level proficiency in your primary language. (Tax laws and accounting terminology vary by country.)
  • English Proficiency: B1 (Intermediate) English to follow project instructions.
  • Precision Mindset: Strong attention to detail, including enjoyment of working with structured numerical data (e.g., spreadsheets that must balance precisely).

Assessment Process

  • Completion of a subject-specific qualification exam to determine suitability for the position.
  • ID verification as part of the hiring process.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Independent contractor work with flexibility to choose when and how much you work, subject to project availability and quality requirements.
