Financial Analyst

Overview

This position supports finance planning activities through organized spreadsheet work. The role focuses on financial reporting, budgeting support, and variance analysis. You will collaborate remotely, document your work, and ask questions when information is unclear.

Responsibilities

• Review financial schedules for completeness and arithmetic accuracy.
• Present analysis findings in plain language to other team members.
• Compare actual results with budgets and prior-period figures.
• Support regular budgeting and forecast updates using supplied assumptions.
• Help prepare monthly reports with clearly labeled tables and charts.
• Maintain working files and document sources for calculations.
• Assist with preparation of forecast scenarios under team guidance.

Requirements

• Comfortable using Excel formulas, charts, and basic spreadsheet analysis.
• Willingness to learn budgeting and reporting systems.
• Experience with reconciliations or financial reports is helpful.
• Ability to clearly explain simple financial findings.
• Strong judgment when handling confidential financial information.

Relevant experience from related roles, internships, or individual projects can be considered.
