Overview
A reputable organization providing technical and management services to the defense sector is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the V-22 Osprey program at PMA 275. This role focuses on detailed financial analysis, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations to maintain the financial integrity of a key naval aviation program.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex quantitative analyses of financial and accounting data to support program objectives.
- Provide financial support to departments including Accounting, Budget, Financial Systems, and Business Operations.
- Ensure compliance with DoD Federal Management Regulations (FMR), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and Department of the Navy (DoN) procurement policies.
- Assist in budget formulation, execution, and financial tracking.
- Develop cost estimates and prepare program status reports.
- Support management activities, corporate initiatives, and special projects impacting organizational operations.
- Respond to data calls and provide organizational support as needed.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment and apply complex regulations and policies.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (MA/MS) or equivalent experience; alternatively, a Bachelor's degree plus two years of relevant experience, an Associate's degree plus four years of experience, or six years of relevant experience without a degree.
- Minimum of eight years of experience in financial management, including financial analysis of business programs, cost estimation, and program status reporting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of DoD FMR, FAR, Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE), and DoN procurement policies.
- Experience with Navy ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong interpersonal skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to maintain a Secret security clearance.
