Overview
A fast-growing organization is seeking a highly analytical Financial Analyst to support Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and operational finance initiatives. This role focuses on unit-level (4-wall) financial performance, assisting leadership in driving profitability, pricing decisions, and operational efficiency. It is a hands-on, execution-focused position suited for someone who thrives in a high-growth environment and enjoys analyzing data to uncover insights and support decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Analyze unit-level financial performance (4-wall margins) including revenue trends, cost of goods sold (COGS), labor cost efficiency, and pricing impacts
- Provide insights to improve store-level profitability
- Conduct ROI analysis on key business initiatives
- Support decisions related to new investments, pricing strategies, and operational changes
- Assess financial risks and opportunities
- Analyze performance of third-party delivery partners (e.g., DoorDash, Uber Eats) and provide recommendations to optimize partnerships and margins
- Support forecasting and budgeting cycles
- Analyze variances to identify reasons for missed or exceeded targets
- Help improve forecasting accuracy and financial planning processes
- Assist in financial analysis for new locations and expansion decisions
- Build financial models to support site selection and investment decisions
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or similar roles
- Advanced Excel skills including modeling, data manipulation, and scenario analysis
- Experience with forecasting and budgeting processes, variance analysis, and ROI/investment analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate data into actionable business insights

- Experience in restaurant, retail, or multi-unit business models
- Familiarity with operational finance and 4-wall analysis

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
