Overview
A leading aerospace and defense organization is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to provide comprehensive financial analysis and support for program execution and management. This role involves close collaboration with program managers and the financial management team to monitor financial performance, analyze actuals, and support forecasting activities. The position offers part-time remote work flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Provide detailed weekly actuals analysis, funding reviews, and modification assessments
- Create and monitor charge numbers using SAP and eWAD systems
- Manage invoicing processes and collections to ensure timely payments
- Support program reviews with Program Managers and the Financial Management team
- Deliver comprehensive financial support to program managers and integrated product teams to meet financial commitments
- Prepare monthly outlook forecasts for Orders, Sales, EBIT, and Cash flow using Hyperion
- Develop long-range strategic plans and annual operating plans for assigned programs
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement
- Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements related to financial management
Requirements
- Experienced user of Cobra, SAP, and Hyperion financial systems
- Proven experience working on multiple contract types, including Fixed Price, Cost Plus, Time & Materials, and IWTA
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Professional experience in financial analysis within the aerospace or defense industry
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to interpret financial data and prepare detailed reports
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Prior experience with program financial management is preferred
