Responsibilities

• Develop scenario comparisons for planning discussions.
• Summarize financial trends in straightforward language.
• Maintain documentation for recurring financial processes.
• Prepare recurring financial analyses and supporting schedules.
• Compare actual results with budgets and forecasts.

Requirements

• Foundational knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ability to organize calculations so assumptions can be reviewed easily.
• Clear written communication and attention to numerical detail.
• Ability to distinguish confirmed results from assumptions or estimates.
• Strong spreadsheet skills and comfort working with financial data.

Assignments may begin with incomplete context; part of the role involves confirming the objective, identifying available information, and documenting any assumptions that affect the result. When items do not reconcile, investigate rather than forcing an answer.
