Overview
A global leader in airport and transportation investment, development, management, and advisory services is seeking a Financial Analyst, FP&A to support their Corporate FP&A team. This role involves financial planning, reporting, financial modeling, and analysis for both corporate functions and operating assets. The analyst will contribute to financial and strategic analysis, reporting on key financial performance metrics, identifying risks and opportunities, ensuring accurate and timely production of reports and forecasts, supporting capital market initiatives, and monitoring overall performance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis of budgets, forecasts, financial plans, cash flow projections, and key performance indicators.
- Review operational performance and analyze financial information to prepare presentations and reports.
- Provide analysis of financial implications of business activities and recommend actions to enhance financial performance.
- Lead efforts to optimize and improve reporting and analysis systems, focusing on standardization and automation.
- Analyze and update existing financial models; build new models to support understanding of business results, forecasting, budgeting, and capital market initiatives.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, benchmarking, and assist in preparing regular and ad-hoc reports to support decision-making.
- Perform other duties as assigned commensurate with the position.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, or a similar field.
- Detail-oriented self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Inquisitive mindset to analyze and interpret the story behind financial data.
- Proven ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative analyses into clear, concise, and insightful reports and presentations.
- Strong analytical skills including financial modeling, working with large/complex data sets, corporate finance knowledge, and sound business acumen.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to manage changing priorities and multiple assignments.
- Demonstrated project management expertise and ability to lead through influence.
- Familiarity with various financial platforms and reporting tools.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
- Critical thinker capable of working independently and collaboratively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel skills, and financial reporting dashboards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) and/or professional designation such as CPA or CFA is considered an asset.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary plus eligibility for an annual incentive.
- Salary ranges by location:
- United States (Greater New York City): $105,000 - $134,000 USD
- Canada (Vancouver): $83,000 - $103,000 CAD

Location
- This position offers remote flexibility; however, candidates must be located in or near Vancouver, Canada, or New York City, USA.
- Travel will be required to corporate offices and network asset locations as needed.
