Overview

A global leader in manufacturing residential and commercial water heating equipment, boilers, and water treatment products is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) professional. The organization operates worldwide with approximately 12,000 employees across the United States, Canada, China, India, Mexico, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

  • Forecast and analyze Profit & Loss statements representing approximately $1.2 billion in annual revenue across Wholesale (Residential & Commercial) and Export businesses.
  • Collaborate with the North American Wholesale FP&A team to meet forecasting and project deadlines.
  • Engage with Wholesale and Export leadership teams to understand current business conditions, including profitability and customer programs.
  • Own and maintain selected statistical drivers and assumptions used in forecasting and long-range planning within BPC/OneStream.
  • Provide exception-based reporting and forecasting support for 10 manufacturing locations and multiple distribution centers.
  • Budget, report, and analyze financial projections and results for Wholesale Residential, Wholesale Commercial, and Export Strategic Business Units (SBUs).
  • Prepare and present executive-level financial summaries, variance analyses (price, volume, mix, cost), and business insights to senior leadership.
  • Assist in operational excellence initiatives such as improving forecast accuracy, standardizing margin analysis, and optimizing finance processes (SAP/BPC/OneStream/Tableau).
  • Support New Product Development (NPD) by providing financial analyses including P&L impact, balance sheet impact, cash flow, payback, and post-launch performance tracking.
  • Support statistical data loads including industry shipment data.
  • Analyze Wholesale customer programs (e.g., VIP, POP), profitability, upsell strategies, and Commercial National Accounts.
  • Occasionally support manufacturing plants with budgeting and rhythmic reporting, including plan templates, previews, KPIs, and inventory analysis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • 5-8+ years of progressive financial analysis experience with advanced analytical skills and exposure to accounting systems.
  • Proven ability to influence business partners without direct authority.
  • Proficient in collecting, organizing, analyzing, modeling, and summarizing large amounts of information accurately and timely.
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction at all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently or as part of a team to meet strict deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Working knowledge of financial and accounting systems; experience with SAP BI/BPC/OneStream is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; Tableau experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree and/or CPA/CMA certification.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
