Financial Analyst AI Researcher - Remote

Overview

This role involves reviewing, validating, and evaluating AI-generated financial analysis to ensure accuracy, insightfulness, and alignment with real-world financial reasoning. The position is fully remote and flexible, offered as an hourly contract with a commitment ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated financial analyses, summaries, and evaluations for accuracy and soundness
• Analyze company-level financial statements, operational metrics, and structured datasets
• Validate key financial metrics, ratios, and trends against source data
• Cross-reference narrative disclosures with quantitative data to identify inconsistencies
• Summarize insights clearly and concisely using structured evaluation formats
• Support recurring AI evaluation cycles with consistent, high-quality assessments
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Requirements

• Solid background in financial analysis, accounting, corporate finance, or a related field
• Comfortable working with income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Strong spreadsheet and quantitative analytical skills
• Clear and concise written communication skills to translate numbers into meaningful insights
• Detail-oriented and systematic approach to reviewing financial data
• No prior AI or technical experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of sector-specific performance drivers and industry benchmarks
• Experience with equity research, investment analysis, or financial modeling
• Familiarity with financial data platforms or reporting frameworks
• Background in auditing, consulting, or financial due diligence
