Overview
A Senior Financial Analyst position is available on the Retail Bank Finance Team. This role involves partnering with business customers to drive strategic business direction and improve financial processes. The analyst will perform financial data analysis, prepare Profit & Loss statements, build reports, and provide project status updates to management and business clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct financial reporting and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and Profit & Loss (P&L) management
- Collaborate with system analysts to maintain and develop systems housing financial models
- Coordinate and collect input data from Financial Analysts across departments, ensuring data integrity, summarizing and converting data, running models, verifying and analyzing outputs, and communicating results
- Assist in developing business presentations to communicate analysis results to senior leadership clearly
- Provide management and business clients with project status updates
- Perform reporting and analysis to support presentations and ad-hoc requests
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with financial modeling
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
- At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis
- At least 3 years of experience with financial modeling
Compensation & Benefits
- McLean, VA: $96,500 - $110,100 annual salary
- Richmond, VA: $87,700 - $100,100 annual salary
Salaries for other locations will be based on local pay ranges. Part-time salaries will be prorated accordingly.
This role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives. Incentives may be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
