Overview
A global leader in financial management solutions is seeking a Staff Financial Analyst to join their Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This role is critical in shaping financial strategy and ensuring alignment with growth objectives by providing data-driven insights and comprehensive analysis to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly close reporting cycle, including preparing forecasts, current estimates, and target settings.
- Conduct headcount forecasting and provide guidance.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive analytics to identify trends and support business growth and operational efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional teams to design, improve, and implement financial and operational processes.
- Act as a strategic thought partner to senior leaders, offering financial leadership and recommendations to influence business decisions.
- Prepare and present reports and presentations to executive leadership, including the CEO, CFO, and Board of Directors, communicating financial performance and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Over seven years of experience in FP&A or related roles within fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Backgrounds in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, or analytics are preferred.
- Strong foundation in financial theory and proven experience deriving insights from data to influence decision-making.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to translate complex financial information into clear narratives for executive stakeholders.
- Ability to lead strategic initiatives, manage organizational change, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and analytical tools; experience with Hyperion Essbase is a plus.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related fields is mandatory; MBA and/or CFA designation are favorable.
