Overview
This contract role involves providing financial analysis services through an external staffing partner. The financial analyst will gather and analyze financial information, conduct quantitative analyses related to investment programs, and communicate findings to support investment decisions.
Responsibilities
- Assemble spreadsheets and create charts and graphs to illustrate technical reports.
- Analyze financial data to forecast business, industry, and economic conditions.
- Interpret data affecting investment programs, including price, yield, stability, and future investment risks.
- Present oral and written reports on economic trends, individual corporations, and industries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related financial discipline required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of financial and/or accounting experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
- Knowledge of economic and accounting principles, financial markets, and financial data reporting.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations related to accounting.
- Experience with computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related financial software.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $42.50 - $48.00 per hour
- Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
- Job Status: Non-Exempt
- Duration: 12 months
