Overview

This role involves performing finance-related duties including compiling and analyzing financial information related to corporate departments.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, consolidate, and analyze annual budgets and periodic forecasts for assigned corporate departments.
  • Partner with functional department leaders to support budget planning and financial decision-making.
  • Create and maintain financial reporting templates to support planning cycles and business reviews.
  • Prepare the consolidation of the annual budget and analyze results; assist in preparation of budget presentations.
  • Analyze monthly actual to budget variances for corporate departments.
  • Support quarterly and mid-year forecasting processes with updated financial inputs and assumptions.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvement.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and support special reporting or project requests as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous experience with budgeting and forecasting cycles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused with solid organizational and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills.
  • Ability to set priorities and drive for results.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Able to interact with all levels of employees.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a large, complex business environment in accounting or finance required.
  • Previous experience in healthcare is preferred.
