Overview
A financial analyst role is available to support the Engineering Services segments, specifically Plant Design & Engineering and Product Operations. This position reports to the Controller of Operations and is fully remote.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily financial support to the finance director and operational staff of both organizations
- Assist in preparation and delivery of the annual 5-year business plan
- Support preparation and consolidation of cost center budgets and SAP labor rates
- Deliver operational reports for review and analysis of cost center spend, IPC spend, resource use, missing time, and composite rates
- Support monthly closing, forecasting, and reporting activities, including journal entries, financial result analysis, variance and trend analysis, forecast submissions, and senior management reporting
- Communicate identified risks and opportunities related to the balance of year business plan and financial forecast
- Assist lead analyst in preparing consolidated capital budget files and administer actual capital spend, including asset e-order submissions, capitalization requests, annual physical verifications, and quarterly impairment analysis
- Partner with HR to ensure accuracy of employee cost center attributes
- Provide direct support to finance and operational leadership with ad hoc projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Accounting or Finance degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in financial planning and analysis or a similar accounting role
- Demonstrated analytical skills related to Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $64,800 to $81,000 per year, dependent on experience, qualifications, and skills
