Overview
This fully remote Financial Operations Analyst position requires residency in PA, MO, NC, DE, MD, or NJ and involves some travel. The role supports finance and accounting teams as well as operating departments within senior dining organizations focused on enhancing retirement community living through personalized dining experiences.
Responsibilities
- Consolidate, analyze, and report monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, comparing against key performance indicators such as plans, historical results, and benchmarks
- Support assigned regions and business lines with forecasting, actuals, variance analysis, and ad hoc reporting
- Build and maintain regional templates and reports for monthly and quarterly reporting
- Assist in preparing financial presentations for senior leadership meetings
- Support annual and long-term strategic planning processes
- Create dynamic, insightful reports using business intelligence tools
- Build and maintain dashboards and scorecards to enhance performance visibility and decision making
- Analyze internal financial data and partner/supplier spend to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Drive initiatives supporting financial objectives related to revenue, profit, and cash flow
- Support operational finance controls to maintain audit readiness
- Participate in special projects supporting enterprise-wide initiatives as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of financial analyst experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance, accounting, business, or related field
- Preferred background in senior living, foodservice, or hospitality
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with senior management and diverse teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
- Strong collaboration skills with ability to influence without formal authority
- Sound business judgment and adaptability
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Experience with Sage Intacct or comparable ERP/accounting systems
- Experience with Ramp or similar expense management/spend control platforms
- Experience working with financial data including P&L, budgets, and forecasting
