Overview
A media organization with 64 television stations across 51 U.S. markets is seeking a Financial Analyst to support revenue analytics and business recommendations aimed at improving sales performance. This remote role requires residing within one of the organization's markets.
Responsibilities
- Perform moderate to complex finance tasks with general supervision, exercising independent judgment in methods and evaluation.
- Prepare weekly reports supporting revenue forecasting across multiple revenue streams.
- Develop retention modeling and analytics to provide customer trends and insights to leadership.
- Provide reports and analysis for key investment and initiative projects to support executive business decisions.
- Extract, organize, analyze, and report data in a useful and relevant manner.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or an applicable analytical field such as Computer Science with a finance background.
- 1 to 3 years of analytical experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel with strong modeling skills.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, and/or Python is desired.
- Experience with WideOrbit and Oracle is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address opportunities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented, results-focused, and able to meet tight deadlines.
