Overview
A financial analyst position is available to support internal corporate financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, indirect rate analysis, corporate reporting, internal cost allocation, financial controls, and compliance. This role ensures accurate financial data for leadership decision-making and maintains the financial integrity of internal operations supporting emergency-management programs.

Travel Requirements
- Occasional travel may be required to complete assignments or attend meetings.
Responsibilities
- Develop portions of corporate budgets and multi-period financial forecasts.
- Analyze departmental spending, financial performance, and internal cost allocations across business units and support functions.
- Identify drivers of financial variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform monthly close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
- Analyze overhead, indirect rates, and shared service costs such as G&A, fringe, and corporate allocations.
- Prepare internal management reports, dashboards, and financial summaries for business and functional leaders.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and financial explanations.
- Maintain accurate financial data in enterprise systems and collaborate with accounting and operational teams.
- Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and applicable federal cost regulations.
- Assist in improving financial workflows, controls, and reporting tools.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Two to five years of corporate financial analysis or accounting experience, including one to two years in public accounting.
- Alternatively, an additional two years of relevant financial analyst experience may substitute for the degree.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate financial results.
- Intermediate proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
- Ability to communicate financial findings to non-financial stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Deltek software.
Additional Requirements
- Home office must maintain minimum internet speeds of 25 Mbps upload and 3 Mbps download, with a ping rate of 100 ms or less during working hours.
- Must have account privileges and access to the internet service provider account during working hours to maintain the internet connection if needed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $95,000 - $105,000, based on experience and location.
