Overview
This role involves financial analysis and modeling to support organizational goals through forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and billing management. The position focuses on optimizing financial management processes, enhancing operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and leveraging technology to modernize financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Collect, synthesize, and analyze financial data to produce reports and actionable recommendations for management.
- Forecast project support levels impacting cost and revenue, prepare monthly performance reports, and explain variances.
- Assist in managing annual budgets for operating expenses.
- Promote adoption of advanced tools and platforms such as Power BI and Power Query to build dashboards and automate workflows.
- Participate in finance transformation initiatives to modernize operations, improve transparency, and strengthen performance management.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client executives, providing strategic guidance aligned with federal financial policies and audit readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience with an additional four years.
- Minimum of seven years of experience in financial analysis, budget formulation, and execution.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, problem-solving, and making recommendations to senior management.
- Hands-on experience with data analytics and automation applied to financial management.
- Strong knowledge of financial terms and principles.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust clearance; candidates with an active Public Trust or Suitability are preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree.
- Experience with Python, R, SQL for data analysis and visualization.
- Experience applying AI tools to financial management use cases.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary range: $98,000 to $163,000, depending on skills, experience, security clearances, certifications, and organizational needs.
